Maureen N. Bologno, 81, of Seaville, NJ passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, September 12, 2017.
Born in Orange, NJ she had lived many years in Sea Isle City before moving to Seaville in 1997.
Mrs. Bologno had worked for Harrah’s Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City as a Cashier Supervisor for many years before her retirement.
She was active in the Church of the Resurrection having taught Sunday School, made bibs for the children who were being Baptized and enjoyed her after Mass luncheon friends at Dino’s. She had been a Cub Scout and Boy Scout den mother, a member of the Red Hat Society and the South Shore Stitchers. She was an avid Mahjong player and active with her King Pin bowling league.
She was predeceased by her husband Thomas F. Bologno in 2002 and her sister: Dorothy Turissi on August 30, 2017.
Surviving are her children: Thomas G. Bologno of Sea Isle City, Deborah (Joseph) Brennan of Sea Isle City, Patricia (Paul Allegretto) Jackson of Ocean View, NJ, Joseph P. (Cheryl) Bologno of Dennis Township, NJ, Steven J. (Natalie) of Cherry Hill, NJ. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren.
A Mass of Resurrection will be offered Friday morning at 11 o’clock at The Church of the Resurrection of St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish, 200 West Tuckahoe Road, Marmora, NJ where friends may call from 9:30 until time of Mass.
Burial will follow in Seaside Cemetery, Palermo, NJ.
