James Charles Watts Sr., 64 passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, January 6, 2018.
Born in Somers Point, NJ, he lived in Pleasantville, graduated from Ocean City High School and worked at Bob's Seafood as a cook. He enjoyed fishing, riding his bike, gardening and most importantly spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his beloved and devoted wife Linda (Hargett) Watts; children Maurice James Stockley and wife Anna, James Charles Watts Jr. , Maocia Delores Watts, Nicole Lynn Watts-Huff and husband Tarik, Troy Anthony Watts, Kaleem Nyree Watts, and Malachi Brian Finch; siblings Rose Troublefield (James), Eugene Watts (Deborah), Fay Wright (Kenneth), Althea Talmadge (James), Crystal Dolison, Ronald Watts, Catherine Sanchez, 35 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, an aunt (Rocky), and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
James was preceded in death by his parents Eugene Watts Sr. and Maocia Harmon.
A service of remembrance for James will be held, Monday, January 15, 2018 at 11:00am at Ocean City Tabernacle, 550 Wesley Ave, Ocean City. Where friends may call from 10:00am till the time of the service. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family to help with final expenses.
