Chelsea Bird

Obituary of Chelsea Bird

Chelsea Noelle Bird passed away unexpectedly on July 13, 2020 at the young age of 20. Chelsea is survived by her parents, Ryan Bird (Jessica) and Danielle (Dave Wintheim), her 2 older brothers, Joshua & Michael, 2 little sisters, Dylan & Talula, her Grandparents, Craig Bird and Dan & Barbara Martinson along with countless aunts, uncles & cousins. Chelsea was preceded in death by her Babba, Debra Bird, & Uncle Joey Martinson. Chelsea graduated from Ocean City High in 2019 with a ton of artistic ability. Chelsea was an amazing girl with a huge heart & a whole lot of sass! She was always the happiest little girl & would put a smile on everyone’s face. She was extremely outgoing & could talk to anyone – she made friends everywhere she went. She had a heart of gold & wanted to help everyone. She helped out at homeless shelters and she truly loved talking to the people & hearing their stories. She also spent countless hours teaching her younger cousins cheer, gymnastics, trampoline, and art. Chelsea loved All-Star cheerleading - especially the friends she met during those times. She liked snow skiing but her true love and happy place was the beach. She loved swimming in the ocean and relaxing on the beach. The only time she was content doing nothing was when she was laying on the sand. Chelsea also had a love of adventure and travel. Even though her life was cut short she was able to visit the majority of the states with her family and friends. Chelsea spent the last few years in a constant battle with addiction, she prayed for a life without fear & pain, but this disease had a powerful hold on her which resulted in an accidental overdose. Chelsea wouldn’t want us to be sad or negative, so please honor Chelsea by remembering all the good things she did & the happiness she brought into everyone’s lives. We will all miss her like crazy.
