Obituary of Stanley Rogowski
Stanley F. Rogowski, Jr. 77, of Wildwood N.J. passed away peacefully on Thursday March 9, 2023.
He was born on November 6, 1945 in the Fishtown section of Philadelphia, PA to his parents, the late Stanley F. Sr. and Laura J. Rogowski (nee Sobieska). He grew up with his siblings Marcella, Francis, the late Joann and was the godfather and uncle to Robin Ann. He resided in Philadelphia for most of his life with his wife and four children.
After his retirement from the School District of Philadelphia as a school police officer, Stan moved to Wildwood, NJ where he was a member of the Elks Club #1896 and loved all things about “the five mile island” including walks around the Inlet of North Wildwood and having family visitors stay during the summer months. He was lovingly known to his family and friends as the “Captain”
He is predeceased by his beloved wife of 50 years, Carol M.; Survived by his children Stacy, Stanley, III (Marie) , Michael (Adrienne), and Sarah (Brett); his grandchildren Aimee, Jamie , Arielle (Bobby), Emmy, Ashley, Matthew, Ryleigh, Chloe, Ava, Chase, and Nora; and his great grandchildren Cailin, Joseph, Penelope, Jude, Nash, and Calla.
