
Obituary of John Rinehart
John A. Rinehart, “Jack” 78, of Millville, NJ passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 14, 2023 at his home. Born in Frankford, DE to the late Marty and Freda (nee Magill) Rinehart.
Jack was a true Patriot who proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam war. He went on to receive an Honorable Discharge and worked in the Navy Shipyard in Philadelphia, Pa. Jack spent countless hours throughout his life helping Veterans and serving the community.
He was a former Cape May County Commander in the early 1990’s with the Tuckahoe American Legion Post # 239. He was also a member of Millville American Legion Post 82 and Millville V. F. W. Post 2169.
He was predeceased by his loving wife: Lynn (nee Easterling) Rinehart in 2014 and a sister: Marlene Karkowski. Surviving are his daughters: Amy (James, Jr.) Collo and Kelly (Ryan) Gray. Also surviving are three grandchildren: Ashley Collo, Jacob Collo, Connor Gray, sister: Joyce Boich. At the family’s request, a graveside service with Military Honors will be held privately.
